Music Ministry

Psalms 150:3-6 says, Praise him with the blast of a ram’s horn; praise him with harp and lyre. Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and flute. Praise him with resounding cymbals; praise him with clashing cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Hallelujah! That goal of the Music Ministry at Woodlawn Baptist Church is to Praise God with every taelent that we have.

We have many opportunities for you to serve God in the Music Ministry.

The Choir and Praise Band provides musical leadership during Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. Children wanting to sing may participate in our Choir (Must come to practice) for a fun and educational time of singing praises to the Lord.

The Music Ministries at Woodlawn Baptist Church are diverse and exciting with places for everyone to serve.

If you would like to make a joyful noise and have fun using your gifts to honor and worship God, then you need to come and be a part of the WBC Choir! We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in the Worship Center and assist in leading worship in the worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.

Praise Band 

This group is made up of Piano, Guitar and drums.  
The music is mix of Traditonal Hymns and contemporary. We believe that the old Hymns glorify God just as the New songs. 
If you play bass, or another instument, come join us.
